Bee survival is our priority. Put in place practices that can make their life better and longer is our aim. Work hard to make the quality of the products better and better is our dream. Create a solid, lasting bond with our customers is our duty.
Our task is that every human being should have. Have respect for the environment that surrounds us and for its inhabitants. Including ourselves. We can’t think about a world without bees. But we need human awareness to help us.
How do we see the future? With yellow and black stripes. We are growing every year, step by step, keeping firmly our principles of quality products and bee wellness. We have a lot of ongoing projects. We hope to have enough time for them!
Bee is at the heart of the project. We cannot think not to protect the bee if we want to produce honey. We start from the microscopic to arrive at the macroscopic . And it is a global commitment. In order to explain Giorgio Poeta’s products the best way, we need to keep in mind three focal points, namely, environment, quality, bee wellness as well as respect for tradition. A traditional beekeeping practice, at the same time with a pinch of innovation, a healthy environment for everyone, a respected and happy bee. These are the three key ingredients of products made by “Giorgio Poeta”.
In addition to the collaboration with Starred Chef (Mauro Uliassi, and Cristina Bowerman, to name few of them) our products are also into the Eataly chain – high quality food in Italy and abroad. Osteria Francescana - thanks to Chef Bottura and Maître Palmieri – is one of the best restaurants in the world, and it is our client. We are present in Australia, Asia, North America and Europe through importers of excellence. Our company has been awarded with the Agriculture Oscar in the “innovation” category for having created “Il Carato”, the only honey in the world aged in barrel. “La repubblica degli innovatori” (Ed. Vallardi, 2015, Alessandro Rimassa) is a volume that talks about the new innovators in Italy. We are in the headlines. I’m a regular guest on the TV show “Detto Fatto”- Rai 2 - as an expert on beekeeping. Lots of magazines and newspapers have been talking about us, and many others will. Who stops going on is lost.
I was born in 1984 in Fabriano. At that time Fabriano was one of the most important industrial areas of Italy. After my graduation in Agriculture, I started my personal and solitary way with two beehives that my father Antonio gave me as a gift. Having a great desire to make myself useful, I enrolled for the polytechnic university of Ancona, the faculty of Agriculture. Since then I’ve been walking my personal “spiritual path”, namely to raise the bees, and I managed to match work and studies. I received both my Bachelor’s and Master degree with a thesis topic you can easily guess: honey in barrique and the possible market outlets.
This is what I believe in. Firmly. And after having finished my studies I got emerged in this adventure that you are reading. Therefore it couldn’t be that wrong.
Sometimes we hide behind people’s opinion. Don’t do it. Take your life in your hands. I wrote my personal story and I hope to carry on with it along with my bees. Because when I say “we”, I mean me and them.
spread throughout the country, close to plantations of top quality, which also makes Giorgio Poeta’s honey special.

The bees are among the most delicate and sensitive insects to pollution. In fact, honey pollution has never been an important issue, as for the bee dies before they can collect it.
